ERC Week 1: Complete (Success)

So week one equaled a complete success, and has been a very in depth learning experience (Made me honestly miss Highschool a little bit). So far we have learned the FDCPA/State laws as well as Company Policies, and we were givin' a test on our knowledge/memory, I did exactly what I thought would happen, I remembered everything but as the test got closer in the day (day 2) I began to forget and lose all what I did know; But we reviewed before the test, and what I had trouble with (the State laws) I made sure to listen closely and I pretty much did it an easy way because I did the State laws first, then went through the FDCPA after because FDCPA was alot easier, though more questions were involved. Overall, though, I aced the test 100% first try and could have gotten 105% but I chose not to try and even write out the 'pitch' part of our call model. To end the week 1 training we did systems (except for the phone system). It was pretty easy, I am fairly comfortable with going into this no experience, head first in a pool of sharks.

Now that week one is over, and successful, week 2 is when we jump on the phones and begin to bonus. I am more nervous about being able to dispositioning calls. I don't feel I understand it completely. We'll see how this all goes down.

Other news:

I've been reading up on actually going from a PSD mock up of a site design to actually coding it, though I haven't put time/effort into it yet, I plan to try and get it going. I need to get to working on this stuff so I can finally get my web design company on the plus side of things. Also, the recording studio, like the other projects is probably put on hold for now until we can find funds for the location, equipment, and advertisement (though myspace, facebook, and craigslist should be enough). In the mean time, I am going to work and save money from my current job and pay off some tickets I got a few years ago, due to the fact that I haven't been able to pay them because of my job situation, and hopefully get this nice truck in town. Wish me luck, haha.

Some Interesting Sites & Other Stuff:

SITES:

http://www.textsfromlastnight.com/  - Great site for reading peoples hilarious random texts!

http://www.trustedplaces.com/ - Great site for Restaurant, Bar, Cafe, Pub, Club reviews!

QOUTE/JOKE:

A man was lying in bed with his new girlfriend. After having great sex, she spent the next hour just rubbing his testicles -- something she obviously loved to do. As he was enjoying it, he turned and asked her, 'Why do you love doing that?’ ‘Because’, 'she' replied, ‘I miss mine.’

Vitamins Don't Vitalize Your Heart When It's Broken.

I've been thinking about teaching my dog, Dewey, commands in German, Spanish and maybe Japanese. I know it would be a tough undertaking including everything that has been coming into my life these past few weeks. I wouldn't mind taking on the extra task, I think it would be fun to actually be able to give commands in another language and mesmerize people. I already have the books to do so with, I just have to look through them and get the right commands and then start teaching them to myself to learn them. I feel this task shall help me beging to learn some new stuff like a new language, or atleast broken-language.

Another new thing coming to realization is I finally got a job; A decent job for that matter. No more slump for me, I am finally going to have the chance to be my competitive normal self and go somewhere in a short time. I cannot disclose any information, yet, as to anything with what I am going to be doing, but know that is pisses people off, ironically. So to answer peoples questions: Yes, there is money in making some people mad while helping others.

First things first: Time to update links.

Tomorrow shall be a busy day; I have some morning/mid-day plans, but when I come home I will be updating my links. Also, hopefully, I will get around to posting soem of my recent photography. Let's see where it takes me. I know a majority of my links forward to a myspace error page, that is due to me ripping my links from my profile instead of recording them for use on here. I have redone the links on my profile, but have yet to update them here and my other profiles.

Soon enough you should all go enjoy the stories of Jamie Meyers as well.

http://jamiemeyers.posterous.com/

She will be posting some pretty good stuff, you should all go check it out if you enjoy fiction. Her works will include stuff from way back circa 1700's to vampires, and many other different fictions. Hit her up and help support a striving writer/ameteur photographer.

As for me, I shall also be posting my blogs from here to update my other socials/blogs. Right now you can check out my zombie movie script on my blogger account ( http://adambonham.blogspot.com/ ). Soon everything will be getting some more addition. I am more serious about this all and I wish to make more of it. As for now, I am burning the midnight oil-so to speak- by just updating this and making sure I have something good for you all to check out.
